Digital products are convenient and versatile. For example I don’t need to make several identical pieces of watercolor background just to cater to a number of clients but I can work on just one piece and it can benefit even more people. It can also be used over and over again. Since we are talking about digital the audience reach is worldwide. In the past I have bought some digital products like eBook tutorials and I also have accumulated a lot of free digital stuffs too. They have been invaluable to my learning.

Creating digital products has always been part of my long term goals. While I grow in my journey as a watercolor painter, I hope to be able to share what I do with those who wish to learn how to paint in watercolor. I want to learn how to create and sell digital products that can not only help others master how to paint but also to provide inspired solutions for the everyday creative needs of people. I am thinking of eBook tutorial, watercolor videos, painted elements for Photoshop brushes and patterns and so many more. The possibilities are only limited to one’s imagination.

With that said I am excited to participate in April Bowles-Olin course on Creative Live called Create Digital Products That Sell While You Sleep. I think I have came across April on one of her insightful write ups about creative business. This time I am joining on her blog tour  to not only help promote this course but also to tell you that this class is essential to every artist who wants to learn the ropes of making digital products that sell.
