I’m thankful to have my illustrations of Indian food, inspired by Little India in Singapore, included in ‘Memories on a Plate.’ The magazine contains over 200 pages of illustrated storytelling centered around food, memory, and home, inspired by Indian kitchens around the globe. A heartfelt thank you to @thealiporepost and @nivaala.co for this wonderful project.
A series of artwork created in collaboration with UK author and writer Freya Pickard.
Hearth by Art Outreach enabled me to create a body of work that resonates with the cause that I’m passionate about and to explore ways of taking risks in making art. Moreover, they gave me a platform to encourage others to see the potential in the waste materials that we incur daily and inspire them to give those a second chance. Thank you to all the Art Outreach staff and review panels for your support throughout this project!

When I read the brief, i was reminded of Psalm 73:22-23 “I was brutish and ignorant; I was like a beast toward you. Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.” Even when I am faithless, the Lord is faithful still. He patiently waits and leads me back to him. I hope this post blesses and encourages you wherever you are in your journey with the Lord. Formerly known as Harmony Thoughts
My story card, Before the Arrow Flies, was one of the selected artworks for the theme “Threshold”, organised by Eliko Picture Books & Things in celebration of Singapore Independent Bookshop Day (SGIBD) on 3 October 2026. The selected story cards will be used as story prompts in a facilitated Story-Making workshop with children and screened during SGIBD.
